Aeterna Dystopia, as people call it, is the "eternal night" that has apparently emerged from nowhere and has been going on for months now. Nobody knows how to deal with it or how to stop it. People are agitated and confused, losing their sense of time, their empathy, their mentality.  The young people Nuy and Alenia struggle through these difficult times, without having a clue how their future will continue, until one day their paths cross and they unexpectedly stumble upon a clue that could change their fate and possibly that of humanity!

There was a major war that happened and now the government is trying a new experiment on the city. The main character, Alex, and her best friends who are twins are seeing that something isn't right. They're seniors in high school but because of the war, they've been separated on government orders. No one is allowed outside because the government is making people to believe its toxic. They believe that if the parents believe it, the kids will too. But it doesn't stop Alex. She and her best friends decide that they are going to try and stop this. But how? They have no clue. But the first step, going outside. Is it truely toxic out there ? They're about to find out.

Will Bennett succumb to the mysterious woman who is part of the Rulers of Mispair? Will the head Ruler of Mispair open up to Arthur? Aside from that, will the two best friends be destroyed by the Government? Arthur Bloomlock and Bennet Thunderstorm have a lot to learn, a lot to discover, much mourning to do, a lot to lose, and particular people to love. Actually not literally, you know, because otherwise that would be really gross. Who is V.K. McAllister? We're a husband/wife duo (Andrew and Sasha McAllister) with a unique approach to writing. We work simultaneously and in secret before combining what we come up with, resulting in dramatic and unexpected twists that surprise even us! Crazy? Yes, yes it is, but it's surprisingly fun and effective. :) We pretty much live for the Inevitable Ascension series and did just about everything ourselves-the writing, the editing, the publishing, the art (well, Andrew did the art, but Sasha provided invaluable consulting when it came to eyebrows), the audio book, the trailer-everything. We're basically a one-man band, except with two people... and no music... so perhaps not the best metaphor, but we're confident you get what we mean. "We caused the end of the world. Turns out it's easier than you might think it is. All you need is a group of eco anarchists and an ounce of magic, and the world goes down in a poof." After another manic episode, Phoenix gets written off his parents' will, and he's trying to find a reason to keep living. Causing the end of the world and being the only one who can save the world wasn't exactly what he had in mind. Phoenix wasn't meant to have magical abilities, and he most definitely shouldn't have been able to make all the money in the world disappear just by thinking about it. To make matters worse, it came with a minor side effect: a disease called Gold fever. In other words, people started to turn into gold. Over the course of a single day, Phoenix becomes the most hated person in the world. As the economy collapses around them, only three of his friends are willing to stay by his side. Their job is to keep Phoenix alive while he tries to make money reappear and find a cure to Gold fever. Which turns out to be more challenging than they thought, as they find out someone is tailing Phoenix with the intention to kill.

Olympus Drive Book 1: Everything is Fine by kullman

Recently freed members of a cult search for their missing members. Everything is not as it seems in Winfell, where six children disappeared under mysterious circumstances, only for four them to be found ten years later telling strange stories of monsters and the Underworld, with no explanation for where they've been. Or what happened to two of them. Suffice to say nothing is fine. *** Reasons to read the Olympus Drive Series 1. LGBTQ rep throughout 2. Happy endgame gays/lesbians and polyamory as well asexuality and grey aces 3. Lots of references to Greek/Roman Mythology 4. Trans, genderfluid, and non-binary characters with arcs that don't revolve around their sexuality 5. Plenty of happy/positive relationships 6. But your favorite ship WILL be a 10,000 year old space alien and an undead detective 7. All dark/heavy topics are addressed or resolved in a positive manner 8. Postive female friendships and romantic relationships, without cheating 9. Essentially any relationship structure or sexuality you can think of comes up at one point or another 10. The queen of the dead gets a sword forged from blood Trigger Warning: Some violence and creature violence. Mild peril. Fantasy violence throughout. Extensive injuries shown. Brief fantasy violence (a character is shot point blank but we know the character cannot be injured, that type of thing). Peril to child characters throughout, though it is fantasy peril. Content Warning: Profanity throughout. Sex/sexuality discussed at length, at an R rated level though little is shown. Oh and...in case the tags didn't give it away there's heavy references to Greek mythology, therefore only like one character is actually straight.

The whole camp was filling with smoke. I coughed, praying that my lungs would keep working for just a few more minutes. "Eli, which way is west?" Adam's breathing was just as labored from physical exertion, smoke, and panic as mine was. I didn't even process the question. I didn't know. We couldn't see anything through the smoke because the fire was spreading so quickly, and I just realized I'd forgotten my walkie-talkie. "Don't know!" I answered. Adrenaline was the only thing that kept my feet going. I knew we'd come in the East Gate, and if the cells were in the center, then if we kept going straight, we were going to find the gate any second. "Keep straight!" I instructed. I saw his head bob slightly, acknowledging my delayed direction. Then Adam cried out beside me, and I stopped short. I reached for his body involuntarily as he pitched forward, nearly causing him to take me down with him. My left hand was soaking wet from where it had landed on his shoulder. I winced as I tried to steady him, not daring to look at what I knew would be a pool of blood in my hand. ☁ Now that they have a new ally on their side, they're looking to change the United States for good. At some point, they want every camp freed and every teenager home safe. But each new camp brings an endless supply of new challenges. Things are beginning to spin out of control. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.
