"Partners?" I wrinkled my nose. "Why would I work with you?"

"Because despite everything you're curious. You want answers, answers only I can give you." He shrugged. "You want to know, and help these poor unsuspecting souls, right?" 

"Yes," I looked down at my feet. "I do."

"So partners?" He stuck out a hand for me to shake. 

I took a deep breath. Should I trust him? I shook his hand. "Partners." 

And my fate was set in stone.

Pacifica Southeast has noticed crazy things happening in Reverse Falls, and if she knows anything, she knows that her family would freak out. 

In order to keep things hidden, Pacifica starts working with a boy who seems to know all the answers about the town.
