The story follows Elena, a girl with a living nightmare inhabiting in her mind, Senna, a girl often bullied at school because of her being 'different', Josh, a boy with paranormal abilities after an accident and lastly, Caelus, a boy with a nightmarish and tragic past, steadily recovering from his traumatic experience, all of them with their own problems and somehow and gradually, they began finding out the roots of their problem and intertwining each others' fate.

You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Yea, you guessed NO ONE CARES! To find friends in a place like this is unlikely. This place is built to feed off the fears of kids and their lack of parental role models. No one holds on to dreams for long in a place like this. You get placed here and you are as good as forgotten. Except when a couple shows up looking as out of place as an astronaut in a gold mine or a miner in space whichever one you prefer. This couple comes and shakes things up. Good or Bad has yet to be decided...only someone's bound to get hurt, someone's bound to be broken. The only question is will the wounds heal or fester and kill?
