The Cruel Queen [On Hold]

The Queen has decided to hold a competition...One that takes lives and gives. One that spills blood and cleans it.

All guards of the castle have gone to the city to find a champion but only fifty enter the selection process. Twenty-five Alchemists and twenty-five Destroyers. No one knows what the competition is for or how it will be executed save for the Cruel Queen. The Competition of Death is what it is called and it's completely true. Twenty-five will die, but only one will prevail. For the better or worse.

Not expecting a Rare, a person with the ability to control a mixture of Destruction and Alchemy, let alone two, The Cruel Queen is taken aback. But what shocks her most is the fact that both Rares are prisoners with the title of "The Worst Criminals in Carrallizian History." Better known as the Ergastula.

The biggest disgrace of Carralliz.

Without any memory of their lives, the Rares fight in the competition to earn their freedom, but they prove to be a royal pain in the neck for the Cruel Queen. An even bigger one than the threats of war coming from the East and the West.

Will the queen be able to keep the competition going smoothly? Or will she have to address the threats of war?
