When Avery Cooper dad decides that it would be for the best if their family to move away from the drama Avery expects to move city's or even states, except it's not just from California to Florida or New York, they decided they should move countries 14 hours away to Australia!
Although upset Avery takes this as an opportunity to ride new waves and further her skills in surfing. The whole plan sounds great in her head until she arrives and meets this infuriating boy with these deep blue eyes, who just can't seem to stop annoying her. But when one day he finds the list of promises she made for her, life to really turn to shit. He steals her waves, her time and her sanity, but at least he can't take her promises.... or so she thinks.
Kyle Davis was just forward to a casual day at the beach with his mates before his final year of school starts, but that girl with the most beautiful eyes he'd ever seen just had to go ahead and ruin that, lying on that towel in the middle of his cricket game. From that day on he knew he had to make this girls life hell, was he being irrational? 100%. Was he going to do it anyway? 1000%, but that was until he found her book questioning if he cared enough about this girl to uphold her pinky promise to an unknown source or will he destroy those too like he planned to do?

Not every blonde is stupid. In the South if you're a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed girl high expectations are made. It hasn't been easy and it won't get any better but Avery is here to play. * Avery is going to face REAL life problems, and not nice people. She's going to deal with sexual harassment, mean words, rude people, pregnancy, injuries, steroids, etc.. In this story I want to exemplify how sexist and cruel humans can be. There will be hard moments, but I want to put it out there because it IS a serious problem. Harsh language and such will be present. You have been warned, don't read it then complain.
