Now it's 2 years later and her father thinks that their family needs a fresh start in a new town called Winchester. Harper thinks it's odd that her dad wants to start new, because he rarely leaves his study and never leaves the house.

When the family gets to Winchester, Harper-Lee and her brothers have some doubts. But after a few days they fall in love with the town.

And then the murders begin.

Two days after they move into their new house Harper's brother goes missing. A day later his body is found in a ditch a mile from the house. He's barely breathing when they find him. Two days later another teenage boy was found on the outskirts of town. But this time the murderer finished his job.

As Harper and her new friends, a girl named Avalon Royce, her twin brother Caspian, and his best friend Carver Daniels race to find the killer, can they keep from being the next target?
