Alice and Luke have never been the best of friends. They should be, given the fact they've known one another since birth, but they're not. And they're perfectly okay with that. It works for them.
That is, until Alice discovers the secret behind the boy's calloused fingers, and he starts to take off on a dream Alice never even thought possible for an unsociable, if not unlikeable, boy like Mr. Luke Hemmings. But, as Luke drags Alice along with him, they start to discover things about the other that they never even realised, and it's like they're getting to know each other from the start again.
