(This follows the show, not the original book series, I hope to get this show caught up by the time season 8 comes out)

Her brother resented her for the loss of their mother but was fiercely jealous and possessive of her. Dany was her most fervent protector and the only thing she ever defied her brother about was his treatment of Aly. Her childhood had been spent in hiding and fear across the narrow sea, but like Targaryen seers in the past her dreams were full of visions that always came to pass. The one she had been having as long as she could remember were of a boy. Black curls and dark brown eyes that always seemed sad, she knew he was real because as she had grown so had the images, she had seen of him.
