Awhile ago I stumbled on a theory that the Tord we saw in "the end" wasn't our Tord at all, and that maybe that Tord was a leftover clone from "spares." I decided to expand on that idea with this fan fiction, hope you enjoy!
_____________
Note: this is just a concept sample of the idea, I'm not making this a full story. I might add a second chapter if I find a way to expand on the AU, but for now it's staying as just one chapter.

No Longer Freedom
It's been 3 years since Tord was last seen in the Kingdom called Stardies. No one has reported anything about him after he got exiled. But little do they know that the man with caramel horns still craves for blood. He didn't get his revenge. Yet in the shadows he has built his own empire, his own army and his own business. When The King of Stardies, Edd, banned the hunting culture that comes to dragons, some of the civilians were not happy with the solution. Weapons that are made of dragons are way more powerful than normal ones. That's why the black market has increased its popularity among the rebellious, criminals, soldiers and other vague people. But one day everything went wrong. Dragons were gone. The forest that before was full of different types of dragons was now just a big tree labyrinth. Not a scale in sight. However, there was one exception. The Midnight Pearl. But why is that? Where did other dragons go? Where did the Midnight Pearl go and where did it come from? What is it? That's what Tord and his two most trusted guards are going to figure out. --------- !TRIGGER WARNINGS! : Gore, inappropriate language, manipulation, toxic relationships, Abuse, gaslighting and angst. This AU is completely my own, so all the photos in this book are made by me. Please don't steal it or repost without asking. Eddsworld belongs to its rightful creator Edd Gould. The characters, not the real people, are used. Just to be clear, I don't ship the real people, only the characters okay. I also have changed the characters last names. Edit: story has been rewritten.Concluida

In Our Nightmares | TordTom
After the incident in 'The End' Tord was found on the hill by his two most trusted soldiers and parents. He was brought to the nearest hospital to get himself treated As for the others, they now live inside their own apartments. Nothing really changed. They're still good friends. Although, Tom hasn't been the same. Matt rarely looks at himself anymore As for Edd. Oh, Edd... He's been hurt the most. Not physically, but mentally. Being betrayed by your "best friend" hurts But there was this one question that continues to lurk inside their minds Did Tord survive? Is he alive? They were never sure. They never found his body But one night everything changed... Where they see a specific Norwegian again... But not in your normal story where'd they accidentally bump into him.. No, no. It's not at all that... But something completely different.. - Book cover made by yours truly!
