Alice - or, as her friend used to call her, Cheshire - finds that a zombie apocalypse can happen. In fact, it's her reality now.
After zombies - "the infected" is what she calls them - break into her school, she loses two of her best friends to the monsters.
Then she is discovered by 4 boys at a convenient store and is taken to somewhere safe with many other survivors.
