"Does he make you happy?" Roger asked as his expression suddenly hardened. Y/N was more than caught off guard by the question.
"What?" she asked, baffled at the notion.
"You heard what I said," he insisted.
"Yes. He makes me happy," she said without a waver in her voice. It was true, after all. Though sometimes it did feel a bit safe with him, but hell if she was going to let Roger know that.
His body relaxed at her response. Roger hadn't realized how tense he was through their conversation, but studying her eyes, it relaxed him. "Then it doesn't matter what I think, now does it?" With that frigid statement, Roger brushed past her and away from the conversation.

Y/N and Roger Taylor may have flirted when they met, but they're friends. They've only ever wanted to be friends. At least, that's what they think they want.

"I'll do whatever it takes, to make you mine" he whispered and my breathing was heavy. His eyes were stabbing mine and I felt the need to touch his face. I held back and watched him go slightly mad. "One day you'll come begging me to touch you, to feel you, to.." he said with a low voice and licked his lips. My eyes were focused on them while he continued talking "I know you want me, don't deny it Em" I bit my lips and had to use every fibre in my body, to hold myself back. Emma starts working at Trident Studios and quickly meets the members of Queen. She must do whatever she can, to keep the job, but Freddie makes that hard. He realises that he has this.. lust. We date the year 1975. The band Queen is recording their fourth album 'A Night at the Opera' in an outback farm where fun and parties are sadly no option for the boys. Boredom, however, doesn't seem to get to them as many things are going on between them, especially between Brian May, the guitarist and Roger Taylor, the drummer. Brian, as shy as he is, suddenly experiences strange feelings he had never felt before. At least not to this extent. This is a MAYLOR fan fic and should not be taken seriously at all! Freddie and Brian exchanged a look that Roger wasn't very fond of. It seemed off-putting and strange to him. "I'm going to call John," Brian mentioned, standing to his feet, shuffling over to the phone in the corner of the room. "Am I missing something? Who is John?" Roger asked, looking between the two. Brian slammed his hand down onto the ringer, turning back to look at his friend. Freddie, who had been mysteriously quiet for the past few moments, shifted in his seat. "Roger darling, what year is it?" He asked him quietly. Roger shrugged his shoulders lightly. "Nineteen seventy." He answered, clear as day. (Completed July 2019) Roger's mind has grown bigger and his life was starting to change in a snap, and liking his best friend was the cold, red cherry on top. Roger had seemed to dig himself into a hole it's hard to plop himself out of. Firstly he discovers the fact of himself being gay, then pressure is forced down on him only leaving him to cry unbearable tears, and then he starts to have a crush on his best friend, Brian. Brian wasn't gay for all Roger knew, how could he stop liking Brian? Go into complete solitude from him?
