An ancient family curse, known popularly throughout many forms of literature and entertainment, is not a made up spell for those of Briar blood, as punishment many many years ago for insulting a powerful witch, the daughters of each Briar family generation will prick their finger and be in an ageless sleep until they are awakened by true love's kiss. However, Eleanor Nox Briar did not wake up as fast as her ancestors have. What will come of the girl when she awakes in a time not her own by a young man who only wanted to help her?

It's the first step in finding herself and her answers and perhaps it could change her life in ways she couldn't imagine when she was taking everyone's orders in the kitchen.
