The year is 2789. Humanity is now an interplanetary species, having expanded outwards from earth over six hundred years ago, when Streamline engine technology was invented. Having conquered the entirety of the Sol solar system, our species explored further into the Milky Way, with massive overpopulation depleting the essential necessities for life in the core worlds. With starvation and disease running rampant, the inner colonies launched a mass exodus into the other solar systems in a desperate bid for these vital resources. This mad dash for resources sparked the war between the Frontier Colony Coalition and the United Earth Government.
After twenty years of fighting for freedom from the slavery and murder common on UEG controlled worlds, the FCC are all but exhausted. Only a single option remains; capture the High President of the UEG and use her to force the leviathan super-government to end the war. The mission is to be completed by a single operative, hand-picked by the FCC's military leaders.
This operative is Vyctor Cirus- one of the youngest, yet most skilled covert operators the FCC has to offer.
However, despite his best efforts, Vyctor will likely fail and be killed or captured on his mission. Even knowing this, he accepts the task before him. Though he will face many setbacks, there is one setback in particular that brings his mission to a near total halt: Valrie Jazmi, a UEG intelligence recruit fresh out of the academy.
As the two are locked in a battle of morals and logic on their travels, they face deadly threats and constant danger together, both fighting a war on two fronts; one against eachother, and one for survival. Vyctor and Valrie soon find themselves facing an impossible revelation... but will they be able to accept their fate?

Make sure she doesn't touch the ground until she arrives at Sethes. Keep her alive at all costs. It should have been a simple job for Uhnros, but maybe he should have known better. Ami: "We may be in different worlds, but we share the same moon and stars." This is a sci-fi love story, dedicated to those people who had to depart... Can you still see the stars in the city's sky? Have you ever imagined that your imagination could transcend what meets the eye? Slowly soaring towards the outer reaches of the solar system, you will encounter Mars first, followed by the asteroid belt teeming with activity, and then the radiant Jupiter and the ringed Saturn. Continuing further, there's Uranus, and beyond Uranus lies the deep blue Neptune, followed by the Kuiper Belt. Farther still is the Oort Cloud, a journey that takes at least 20,000 years... This is a pilot's logbook from the era of interstellar exploration. During that time, fusion technology has become practical, and humanity has embarked on voyages into the frigid expanses of the outer solar system, exploring the Kuiper Belt. Earth remains a stage for political and economic struggles, while the explorers are busy bees of that era, pioneers venturing into various planetary belts, far removed from human civilization. This story encompasses love, longing, psychological descriptions, speculation, as well as themes of loneliness, social anxiety, and PTSD. If you're a tech enthusiast, you'll find foundational elements of interstellar travel here: astronomical units, speed and time, the asteroid belt, Kirkwood gaps, Trojan groups, the Kuiper Belt, Lagrange points, orbital resonance, gravity assist, centrifugal force, the structure and construction materials of interstellar space stations, fusion engines, magnetic confinement, propellant propulsion, and other technological concepts.

Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! Humanity is not alone in the universe. More specifically Earth is not alone. It is an age of wonder for humanity. For all but a few. Our history has been altered, according to one who has visions of the fractured world that could have been but never was. The way history would have played out without an intergalactic coalition of humans visiting Earth. And he cannot decide whether the advanced human's arrival is really all that it seems. Whether we would have been better off as things are now, or with how his visions tell him things ought to have been. There are multiple worlds colonized by a vast space faring technologically and biologically enhanced human race all across the galaxy. Earth is just one of many of such colonies. At some point in our forgotten past Earth was cut off from our intergalactic neighbors and decides to fend for herself. Later we lose ourselves to infighting and nationalism instead of being true to our nature of being a space dwelling, intergalactic human cooperative. Now our space cousins are reestablishing contact with Earth. Bringing their superpower enabled, technological mastery of science so advanced as to seem supernatural. Eliminating slavery, wars, crime, diseases, climate shifts, and currency, with their arrival. Offering the promise of entry into a thriving united galactic empire. (I am dropping in from time to time updating the story with fresh ideas as they pop into my head this is so very much a first draft I have not even decided on names for some of the characters or different factions of humans that are to be encountered from beyond our solar system)

At first I thought I'd pick something a bit out of my comfort zone (so.... NOT SciFi for once...) to expand my horizon, but when I saw a prompt about time travel I was immediately inspired. Please keep in mind, all of this is WIP! The title, cover, and some of the content might change at any time... I have an outline and I worked hard to come up with a compelling and consistent story line, but due to the nature of the story (timey whimey stuff!) I might have to revise things a few times as I write. I'm grateful for any feedback and I hope you enjoy :)
