Life is hard for Kaida. As any typical 14 year old girl, she has many insecurities with herself. None of that gets any better as she also suffers through being bullied at school and online, her dad being in jail, and her mom being abusive. She's had enough of being tormented and brought down, and she decides to end it all. However, instead of colliding with a semi truck, she collides with something else, or someone else. Everything is opened up to her, and she realizes that there's more to her life than she thought. She learns she has to stay alive because for her, it isn't a choice. Giving up isn't a choice for anyone, and she uncovers that as her reality is opened up to her. She discovers the many powers and abilities within her, along with something else that she doesn't expect. She gains something she thought she'd never have. There is a school, in the middle of no where, called The Sanctuary. A school for delinquents. Reyanna Camp's life has been a little bit upside down. She was sent to The Sanctuary for a number of reasons. One is because her dad died and her mom remarried, and then her mom died and her step-dad remarried and so she wasn't really their kid.
