The game starts when the child turns seven. The parents leave all children in the latest home and disappear. The children have ten months to find their relocated parents. The child is left with $25,000, every year the amount goes down by five hundred. The child was also given 5 clues to the wear about of the parents, this much like the cash flow decreases by one every year. Once a child locates the parents they then claim the title of winner and are afforded the luxury of being excused from the next session.
