A short story about a trio of scientists arriving on the newly found jungle planet of Undov. They are working on gathering date, and finding a possible place to build their new research center. Meanwhile, two Yautja mates are on the planet along with them. They are hunting deadly nocturnal beasts called Dezamoth. The scientist are unaware of the dangers that spring out of the darkness, or aware of the Yautja stalking them in the daylight.
