He was raised as a nobleman and at the age of eighteen was declared a Knight of Voltron and he was bestowed the name Sir Keith, Knight of Voltron. He swore to protect the royal family at all cost from a constant war with the Galra. He and his comrade Pidge guard Princess Allura, Ward Romelle and Ambassador Coran.
