This is a story told in verse from alternating perspectives of my main characters. It is based on true events of the largest theft to take place in Canada. The case is still unsolved and all the stolen items have never been found. Little is known about the three thieves. This is my reimagining of what happened the night of September 2nd 1972. The thieves behind the heist, and the events leading up to it. It explores themes of materialism, greed, and unhealthy relationships. It attempts to dive into the mind of a narcissist.

This story was written about nine years ago, and resurrected now because I've hit a wall with another story I was currently writing. It follows a wannabe detective through a maze of characters and bizarre situations involving a family trust. Every Girl wants a bad boy to be good only for her and that's exactly what Hadley got. *** Hadley didn't think much of it when she couldn't make any friends in High School. She just brushed it off and lived her life without caring about it. Sure it would be nice to have a few friends but she guessed that she was just antisocial. Maybe there was more to it, maybe there was a cause to the underlying pain. Levi has had his eyes set on Hadley since middle school, never talking to her, never even let her catch him staring at her. When high school came around he wanted Hadley, and he did anything to keep her from harms way without her even noticing. Summer break? Nah, it's heist time. The heirs to crime family syndicate work together and against each other as twisting plots for dominance run over each other over a piping hot summer. Loosely based on the first half of the Elizabethan Drama, Edward III. Feels like an indie drama. Trigger/ Content Warnings: Rape is discussed at length (no voilence on page). A character believes they are going to be raped. Some sexual innuendos. A teenage character does illegal drugs and drinks on page. Some on page violence. Children commit crimes on page and are encouraged to do so by adults. Be aware of your mental state and seek help as needed. More information below if needed, there are spoilers: A female character believes a male character is going to rape them. This goes on for the majority of the book. There is no violence and the other character never intends to commit rape, however it is implied that he is aware the female character is upset and does not seem to care, however he ceases advances when he realizes she is genuinely afraid of him and not merely nervous.
