Avery Malachi Williams has never had it easy in life. In his eyes the world was black and white. Living in the rough streets of Oak Cliff he'd never seen any think positive happening for young black men like himself. As he tries to escape this reality he looks to a poetry club titled "Jade's House" where he found his remedy.

Kadynce Denise Brown has always had a silver spoon in her mouth. She is an aspiring musician graduating from Booker T. Washington top of her class. Being the daughter of a low profile king pin people tend to think the young teen has it "easy". Little did the world know Kadynce was very lonely, when she returned home to her materialistic lifestyle all she had was her music.
