People are now forced to wear a quantum membrane placed directly on the brain to care for it, the topcortex. To reach his objective, Monarc destroys experimental results, aspirates thoughts of the ruling class with his topcortex, kills a famous astronaut and destroys his heart given to replace Telio's. Monarc wants to impose on Dax an artificial heart for Telio. By controlling the cardiac implant of Telio, Monarc will dominate Dax.
