Freddie and Roger had some clear romantic tension since the band started. Roger always flirted, hinted, and made it pretty obvious that he was head-over-heels for Freddie. Roger, that horny son of a bitch, loved Freddie, not just for the sex, but for genuine love.
Freddie loved Roger too, and they even shared one or two kisses as they were drunk, and behind closed doors. Freddie wanted Roger to be his boyfriend, but it was hard for Freddie to admit that he really did love Roger.

Happiness.... This is a side trip from the traditional format for Maylor and takes place in an alternate universe away from Queen. I have borrowed some things from their real lives to enhance the story and give it some familiarity. I have not placed a time stamp on this story as my world contains music from the 70s, 80s and beyond. MTV exists in the way that it did in the 1980s.
