Growing up Gwyneth Grey relished and fantasized about learning magic, and all the shit that makes childhood what it is. However as she got older that love of magic and fantasy began to die with in her. That mystical magic was like a fire that got smothered by an oxygen depriving blanket of reality and social pressure to grow the fuck up already. Santa, the Easter bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the monster under her bed whom she named Greg, and her imaginary friend all shot down by one event that almost forever kill her faith that there was something more to reality. This event was when her parents got divorced when she was in the third grade. Up until that point she believed in the most bizarre and outlandish thing, like her parents were an example of a "happily ever after". At first she thought it was her fault and tried to be on her best behavior in hopes they'd get back together. However after batting her long eye lashes and asking if there was anything she could do to help, her Mother crushed that idea. She basically told her that her father was an egotistical two faced jack ass of a man, and that she didn't want her being raised around him. It wasn't until her senior year of high school that she learned that she hadn't learned all of her family's secret
