Girls Need Love Too

This story takes place in Philly. Melanie, along with her friends Maniyah, Jaylaa, and Sissy are freshman at Jefferson High School. All four girls share different relationships with one another and have completely different home environments. These girls are growing young teens that have to find leverage between battling their peers at the neighborhood school , complying with their parents , and their growing female regime. Melanie has unique qualities that set her apart from her friends. This is the intro to a short story series that highlights the trials and tribulations young preteen females encounter. (recommended ages 13-16)
