Have you ever walked outside at night? When it's so dark and you can't see a thing at first? I often do that and I'm never afraid. Because I know that after a while my eyes will adjust to the dark and I will be able to make things stand out. I'm always safe. I always know where I am. But not today, it was so dark, all I could see was a suffocating darkness around me. Aria my wolf huffed in annoyance when even she couldn't see a thing or couldn't pick up a scent around us. 'Ophelia, what's happening?' she muttered. 'I don't know' I whispered back aloud. The words had barely left my mouth when I heard something running quickly in our direction. I ran, not knowing what direction I was going. I tripped over something and fell flat on my face. Feeling a presence behind me I screamed and tried to crawl away...

Trying to open your eyes but no avail, you tried to stretch your body but you could only do much. You couldn't do anything besides thinking and feeling the warmth that surrounds you. 'Where am I..? Gosh, I'm so sleepy.... Hnmm.. ' You tried to recall everything, and it slowly came to you. 'Where are everyone? I was just with them a moment ago.... What happened' * ghasp * You gasped upon realization, every bit of your memory flooded back.

Thoughts, ideas, and other things I'm afraid to say out loud.

When I woke, I wasn't human anymore. The last thing I remember is the impact-a heavy blow, a flash of light, and then darkness. But when my eyes opened again, everything had changed. My body was no longer my own. My senses were heightened, my movements alien. And I was alone, face down in what seemed like an endless, echoing cave. I can't explain what happened, or why I've been reborn this way. A dragon? How could this be real? With each new discovery, I learn more about the creature I've become-but I also wonder: Was it all an accident? Or is there something more sinister at play? I'm trapped between two worlds-my old life, lost to the shadows, and this new existence, where every step shakes the earth beneath me. But I have no choice. I must learn to survive in this new form. Because I can't shake the feeling... I'm not the only one here.

Waking up in what appears to be a strange swamp, running a high fever and staring down the fangs of a wolf was pretty bad. Sad to say, it actually wasn't the worst way Ariana had ever woken up. Not that she could remember much of anything very clearly. Ariana finds herself in a cold and dark world, where, other than her new furry and feathery friends, there seems to be nest to no animal life. What is this place, and why was she here? Struggling to survive in a world where even the air she breaths is poison is pretty hard, but Ariana is nothing, if not a survivor, and now, with the goal of saving as many lives as she can, she had a reason to live again. Next up on the list to be added to Royal Road! (Forgot to add that when i submitted it lol. Sorry Royal Road submission person XD XD Please forgive me lol)

I've been hidden in the dark. Kept from a world that I've never known. All I want, all I've ever wanted, is to feel. To have a soul. But what is the cost for a soul? What are these things lurking in the dark?

I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. It hurt to do anything right now. But I still screamed under the cold water and pushed the hands away as hard as I could. It didn't have much effect. I fought and fought, but I was getting weaker, and colder. The pain was overbearing. I couldn't breathe. It was the worst pain imaginable; and as the hands that were around my neck were forcibly ripped off by some unknown force, I slipped deeper into the depths of the river. My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away. I felt a small pressure around my waist, before the darkness completely consumed me. The last thing I remember is thinking, save me.

The water is my home...It is the only place I feel free...I can go anywhere, be anything as long as I kept to myself...It has been years on my own and every once in a while I return to a place I had found happiness. He made me happy until we were kept apart. Now I am free or am I? Just like anyone else I have dreams, dreams to walk, to sing, to dance but those dreams were shattered in an instant or is it. Is it possible to achieve those... I wonder... but I wont stop, I won't stop until those dreams become a reality. It's time to go back home, my real home.
