Let Me Go

Jessie Ybarra's, 18, struggles begin from day 1 of her life. Living in a home with an alcoholic father that beats her and her mother to almost the point of death. Eventually, her mother takes courage and stands up against the beast. And with that, both Jessie and her mother are forced to move far away and start over. Things seem to go well for both, but in a rapid turn of events, Jessie's world goes downhill and shatters. Jessie struggles to put meaning into her life and even considers that her lifes' meaning, is to put it to an end.
