There are many stories of worlds where residents suddenly gain powers, or a secret portion of them possess it, or it existed in medieval times, or it's an alternate world from the very beginning, founded on different laws.

However, this is not that kind of story. For many, many generations, people have had powers. It's unknown how long powers have been a thing, nor their source, but they exist. And those who excel in the use of these powers, as well as extreme geniuses of the mundane sort, attend a specific academy, Blackwood High.

Instantly, they are the most popular people in the galaxy. And for once, popularity couldn't feel more like a curse. Fighting grudges, fear, and distrust, the Chosen humans must travel to the one place on Earth where they might be safe. And with strange new powers, the teenagers struggle to live in the unfamiliar world they thought they knew so well.

A world-wide phenomenon gave birth to Grimoire and power in humans, who were later termed 'Grimors'. One of those grimors was Lucifer. Will Amar use his abilities to help people? Will he use his ability to become a beacon of hope? Or would this new life give him nothing but sour and back-stabbing aftertaste?
