It's been four months since Meyers Motors visited Japan to merge their business with their Japanese counterparts.

Although Connor made a promise to Greyson to properly work on their friendship, he did not account for how much work he would be swamped with once his position changed from COO to CEO. Making his business thrive under this new business expansion was hard enough, but now, new information about technological advancements in their opponent's companies requires him to focus solely on the business, lest they be bought out.

Greyson feels stranded. Connor's admission of feelings for her had awaken feelings she never knew she had for him. But with work taking up all of his time, she has been left alone and confused. Now her mother's condition is worse, her ex is back in her life and a new therapist has prescribed her medication that has her feeling depressed.

Can these two find each other in the end? Or will their choices and the people in their lives influence different decisions... Different paths... Different... Love?
Unfortunately, as beautiful as the word love is, all that glitters is not gold.
