When sixteen year old Tarcy Sutton’s life gets flipped upside down due to a tragic accident, she begins to change, and not for the better. When Tarcy stops doing her school work, her chores, her daily activities, even simple things like eating and talking, her family gets worried. Just wanting to do what is best for their only daughter, Tarcy’s parents send her to Henna and Shields, a yearlong camp for troubled teens. During her time at H&S, Tarcy befriends some unexpected characters, uncovers secrets of her past and finds out her life wasn’t as black and white as she had once assumed it to be. But when she discovers her twisted destiny is worse than she could have ever dreamed, Tarcy will do everything in her power to change it. With the help of some unlikely friends, Tarcy gets closer and closer to finding out the meaning of her sick destiny. But will she be able to change it? Or will the secrets she unlocks help her come to understand everything happens for a reason? Will she choose to carve her own path of destiny, or will she follow through on the one already paved for her?

~COMPLETED~ | This story is being slowly edited. "As much as you want to plan your life, it has a way of surprising you with unexpected things that will make you happier than you originally planned. And that's what you call God's will." I gazed down at my swollen stomach, the place where my baby was growing and being kept safe, and gently rubbed it. A smile slowly formed onto my lips. "This baby is my perfect mistake." ********* Anabelle Marie Thompson is just your typical average teenager, except she studies hard and values books more than TV. She's just trying to get through her Senior year, so she can graduate with high honors and go to her dream school, Stanford, to become a lawyer. One night, instead of reading her favorite book, her friend Lianne Young, drags her to Sean Walker's party (aka the hottest guy in the whole school). One thing lead to another and she ends up having a quickie with Sean Walker. Little did Anabelle know that her life was about to change forever...
