The world can only be born once, its laws stable, eternal, unchanging. And yet, the world of Aurelie was ravaged apart it's reality shattered, unraveled disaster reforging the planet anew. Cast adrift in this turbulent world, he falls into the hands of slave traders and his future seemingly sealed. Yet, through a fortunate twist of fate, he escapes, slipping free from the chains that sought out to bind him. His true journey begins in the Holy Kingdom of Menestia. Confused, heartbroken, and lost, he dives headlong into the depths of this world, entwining its fate with his own. He traverses this land in search of his purpose and meaning. He will get to drink full from the chalice of sorrow, taste betrayal and joys of true friendship and love. At the end of the road, will he be hollowed out and broken, overcome by regret and remorse? Will he stand, persevere, prevail? Will he breathe a new life into this cruel, yet unbelievably beautiful world?
