NOTE - I am not the creator of AxeTale nor do I own it's rights, this is my own retelling of the story of AxeTale. A sub-AU if you will, a rewrite of AxeTale, kind of like TS!Swap for UnderSwap, expect this version of AxeTale to be different than the one you know of, as there'll be a few changes here and there- NOTE 2 - I personally am not a fan of Frans / Frisk x Sans... But in this AU both Frisk and Sans are of age, and it's a plot point that they're married... Frisk has freed the monsters of the Underground. Finally, monster kind is allowed to return to the surface. It's been 3 years since then. Yet the monsters still struggle to find their place within the world. Most accept the monsters, but there are those who wish nothing more than the complete annihilation of monster kind. Merely sealing them away is not enough. As ambassador for the monsters, it is Frisk's responsibility to fight for everyone's right to live on the surface. But at the same time, an internal battle rages on within her. Not only that, her relationship with Sans is strained. Trust is not so easily regained after the slaughter of one's beloved, despite it all being erased. Or was it really?
