The world is ran by Apple since they defeated the army and killed the president. Nothing is like it used to be. Musical instruments are banned, dark colours and black are banned and life has turned very strict. No one is revolting, they're either consciously or subconsciously terrified of Apple and what they will do next. Everyone is labeled, Genius, Tolerant and Haters.
Sarai Consan is a Hater and sees everything in a different light than most. She's still scared of Apple but she has her own opinion and is making an identity for herself. Everyone thinks of her as mysterious and dangerous, she is really just a smart girl with an attitude who is also beautiful and that isn't dangerous. It's lethal. Along with the equally mysterious Alistar McStan, Sarai finds herself and what she is meant to be in a series of events and finds the Outcasts.

What she thought she knew about her world is about to change forever, bringing everyone she knows down with her. DISCLAIMER 2016/2017: This book is a few years old at this point, and due to the political uproar in American in 2016 I feel the need to make this abundantly clear. Outcasts takes place in a dystopian world in an undetermined year in the future, and the political parties depicted in this story - the Republicans and the Democrats - are in no way, shape or form a commentary on their real-life counterparts. I had very little knowledge of American politics when I wrote this story, and if I could go back and change their names I would. Throughout the story you will read of absurd flaws in both party agendas, and in no way did I ever intend to shame or defame the real life Republican and Democratic parties of America.
