I need I was alone, I could hear footsteps coming down the corridor.
My torchlight flickered off and on, but I guess by then it was too late
Whatever that was in the room with me was probably already behind me ........

I only came to the city to earn some money, so that I could help the people who remain in my home town. Who can't leave even if they wanted to. If they try the city poeple just send them back. What if Ryuzaki and Hedeki Ryuga weren't just aliases? What if there was more than one person occupying the mind of the worlds greatest detective? This is an AU in which L has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) otherwise known as Multiple Personality Disorder. This stared as a three part oneshot series in my other book, but people loved the idea so much they kept requesting more. So I've moved all the oneshots into their own book as they follow the same story line and ended up long enough to be a short story. DID is a very real and very hard to live with trauma disorder and I am in to way trying to glorify it. I just thought the idea of each alias being a different person very interesting. This disorder has a negative stigma behind it and that negative stigma needs to be destroyed. I've done as much research as I can to make this accurate. I woke up sitting in a chair with my hands tied behind me and my head pounding, I couldn't see much of anything past myself under the lamp beating down on my head. I tried to look around it was no use the rest of the room was too dark, I could hear voices from outside the door but I couldn't make out what the two men were talking about, as I thought that the door opened a crack and I just could make out what was being discussed....
