As you know, the Marvel Cinematic Universe we know of is lacking many characters that we love- Spider-Man, Groot, Bucky, Black Panther, Vision, etc- due to the snapping of Thanos's fingers. But what if the soul stone did something unexpected and extremely improbable... like malfunction, sending the lost souls through multiple universes for a limited amount of time, only to send them somewhere else? Seems unlikely, right?
