Dragon Reincarnated (Working title)
As an avid- and fairly unsuccessful- writer of fantasy fiction, I know that dragons are pretty much the pinnacle of existence. I dare anyone to argue. So, when my mundane existence comes to an end and I am offered a choice of whatever race I liked upon reincarnating into a fantasy world, of course I chose dragon. The Final Smile
Raymond hadn't taken five steps when the sack suddenly moved. He froze instantly and his skipping heart started running a hundred meter race. He tried to bring down his fear by blaming the wind for the occurrence but the sack moved again, very softly, and he knew that whatever is inside that sack is responsible for the movements. He discarded his fear and moved towards the sack. He looked around in utmost fear hoping that some of the scenes in Hollywood movies would not manifest; where police men would round up good Samaritans assuming them to be murderers. The environment was utterly dark and he could not see anything asides bushes. He reached down and pulled down the loose top of the sack and what manifested before him was the face of a human being. His heart almost stopped from fear as his prediction had become reality. Raymond's breathing was not coordinated at all and he had gone pale. The face was slightly covered with mud but the entire hair was immersed in it. From the hair, he knew it had to be a girl so he pulled the sack down to the waist line of the body with his shivering hands. He looked up and nearly died of fright when he met the eyes of the girl slightly open and in his direction. He started wondering if she was a spirit or a witch sent to kill him but then he saw how pale she looked and warded off his vague thought. He glimpsed a thick mass of blood on her stomach and winced internally. She started moving uncomfortably and seemed to be doing that unconsciously. He hurriedly pulled out the sack and threw it into the bush. Without even considering the risk of picking her up, he whisked her into his arms and made for his car. Raymond is already frustrated with his relationship with Tinuke his fiance but can't end it..... Not until he met Lucy in a sack. It was dark. *Bu-bump... Bu-bump... * Tiny heartbeats and blood pumping is the only thing you can hear. Trying to open your eyes but no avail, you tried to stretch your body but you could only do much. You couldn't do anything besides thinking and feeling the warmth that surrounds you. 'Where am I..? Gosh, I'm so sleepy.... Hnmm.. ' You tried to recall everything, and it slowly came to you. 'Where are everyone? I was just with them a moment ago.... What happened' * ghasp * You gasped upon realization, every bit of your memory flooded back.

Suddenly there was a huge roar. I take a step back covering my ears, my head spins, it is so loud I can't hear myself think. I stand at the mouth of the cave that yawns wide open on the side of a cave. Its big, bigger than a mountain lion bigger than a bear. And I am about to walk into it's cave. But I HAVE to find out what it is. What if there IS a dragon? It will eat me for sure. but I keep going, I just need to make sure it doesn't see me. I walk to this opening as the path split in two edging me across the wall. I will be careful, silent, it will never know I was even here. There is a rocky cliff side and a drop. I look up from my thought and my eyes lock with gleaming golden eyes. I freeze every muscle in my body locks and I can't move. Towering taller than a building stands something I never thought could exist. A dragon. My heart pounded in my ears as my blood ran cold.Complete

Standing on the path, my life flashed before my eyes. The gun directed at me, went off. I could see the flash and the bullet coming straight for me, but I'm frozen to the spot I'm standing, unable to move or think clearly. It only registered with me that the bullet pierced my skin when my body impacted on the cold wet cement. Lying there I could hear my heartbeat slow as my blood flowed from my body. That's when I heard it, footsteps getting closer til a man face appeared in front of me. But my vision is too blurry to see him clearly. That' s when he spoke, "You will be reborn. I'm giving you a second chance.You are not my beloved so you will wake up a soulless killer with no remorse and a burning desire for blood. I can't give you a normal life but I'm giving you the chance for revenge. I can't tell you what to expect because I don't know myself. I have no idea why I'm changing you but something is telling me it is not you're time to die" I had no idea what he' s talking about, well not til I woke up. That night Ivy died and what was reborn is something dark and dangerous. He was right, I am a soulless monster. I have no remorse for the blood I shed. Not when it gets me closer to having my revenge.Complete

I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day. I got up, ate, showered and went to work. I was a police officer. I was checking out a house call about domestic abuse. I didn't even get to knock on the door before a man bursted out screaming at a women about calling the pigs on him.
