What if there are people in this world who have special eyes. One can turn you or anything else in gold. One can set you or anything else on fire.
On this world are 10 people with these kind of powers. This is the story about the girl that can turn things gold and the boy who can set things on fire.
It is special if you are one of these people and it's also special if you meet them but even more special is if they meet each other.
Gloria is a girl living on the edge of a town. She's forced to get married to a guy. He wants to use her power to make money and he tortures her. She is planning on murdering him but she can't turn him gold. Because then everyone will know it was her.
Florian is a boy living in the same town as Gloria. He only lived there for a month now. He always traveles around, because maybe after a while they will notice that his eyes have a special color. That's also one of the reasons why he's wearing glasses. The other reason is that the glasses are heat resistant so he won't burn them on accident or burn some else or something else. He doesn't want to use his powers ever again because he did something terrible with it when he was younger.
They both have a hard life, but maybe they can help each other to come over their greatest fairs and fight together in this battle for happiness.

A pair of eyes could seem so kind, warm and innocent to the world, but only yourself could know the true darkness behind them. There's one person in this world who knows exactly what I'm talking about. He knows the infuriating, angering feeling of the painful suffering he experiences when his own eyes meet his reflection's. Deadly, severe, menacing: is what he sees. Everyone who looks into them simply see a bright pair of ocean eyes. Blue. That's all they see. But only himself knows he's drowning in the tidal waves of their deep ocean. And no one cares enough to notice, to help, or to save. Until her. She used to think fire was more murderous than ice.
