Samantha Hall is a highly skilled soldier who's been recruited into the Task Force 141 by her father, General Shepherd. She knows she'll have no problem fitting in, especially when connecting to the other comrades, except one thing challenges that...and his name is John MacTavish. With a stubborn and sarcastic attitude, "Soap" is sure to drive Sam to the brink of insanity. 
    Until he doesn't. 
    Now with a more meaningful relationship with the handsome soldier, Sam finds herself questioning the trust she has in her father, especially as he turns his back on his own men. In a war of alliances, Samantha finds herself stuck between two different worlds: one with Soap and one without.
    Upon becoming part of a dangerous game, Sam is sure to stay with the men she knows best. Doing so will result in unprepared deaths and haunting twists, but Sam hopes the training instilled in her brain will help her evade the bullets whistling around her.

The passing of my older sister as well as everything that went down with her dad, her mom turned to alcohol for comfort. And looking at her now, it's like staring at someone you don't know. It's only one more semester until graduation. The dream is to find a good job, and get out of her toxic environment. To start over somewhere fresh, away from her past. But things never go as you plan. Every Friday afternoon Ashley stays at this cafe 'Gracht' to work. But on this one Friday something happened which changed her life for good. A love story during the war. A great character development story as Y/n goes through a lot. (Also some of the chapters carry the names of my favourite songs that I listened to during my Modern Warfare 2.0 obsession) I hope you will enjoy it!💕
