Shibutu: Rise of Death is story about a young adult who dies in an accident. He wakes up after 3 years to discover he has become someone else. Something else. He has become the death itself. With seemingly unlimited abilities, he goes on a rampage eager to get revenge on those who did him harm. Little does he know is that he is not the only one with same or similar kind of powers. Those that are stronger than him. They are called Kamonis. Beings from parallel universe.
