The tears rolled down my cheeks, falling after each other. The stake was beautifully carved, not a single splinter sticking out. I stood by the window, watching them cheerfully chat about their success.
I realised I didn't need the stake anymore. Just to check, I softly stabbed my palm. Blood spurted out rapidly, the cut didn't heal. So they were successful. I left the stake on the table and picked up my diary and a pen.
Dear diary,
This is my last entry.
Nobody likes me, they said it them self. I'm human. I don't want to live anymore. Being human meant I could restart. I can't do that.
I'm holding a bottle of pesticide I found in one of the cabinets. Drinking it all will kill me.
Bye, diary. You really helped me.
Love Katerina Petrova
P.s I never did find her. Kol told me she was killed, he said he saw it himself.
As I lifted the bottle to my lips, it was fiercely thrown to the floor by a woman who appeared in front of me. She had dark, brown hair, the same shade as mine. In my opinion, there was an uncanny resemblance between her and myself.
"Who are you?" I asked, rather frightened.
Her response changed my life forever...
