A Cursed Prophecy.

A Clash of Wills.

A Legacy which should've been destroyed.

When whispers reach the ears of the Outer City, speaking of things to come, the Misfits are sent out on a mission to investigate. Their findings? The Necromancer is moving again, and this time he has an even worse plan than before.

Ten Crystals.

Ten Sigils.

Together they make up the defence array surrounding the entire country, but there's a darker side to them. One which should've been forgotten and destroyed along with the array after its job was done. But it wasn't.

The task sounds simple enough.

Collect and guard the Ten Barrier Crystals.

It would've been far simpler, too, if their opponent wasn't the Last Necromancer.

"My Lord" I replied, keeping my head down, a quick curtesy, and eyes glued to the floor as if the marble tile was the most interesting pattern in the room. The auras coming from the dragon king was so demanding I felt like I could pass out. "Look at me little one. We do not bite. Much." the voice commanded, although gently it held power. A few snickers softly resonated. I took a breath and gently rose my eyes to meet the most beautiful golden eyes. I was so entranced that I almost didn't hear the one word that was going to change my life forever. Little did I know just how much my life was about to change. "MATE." It took me a minute to register what just happened. Excuse me? Did i just hear the word mate? Oh shit. -------- Everly lives in a world where supernatural creatures live side by side humans. Death is a sweet thing in a world like this." Cursed by a Wishing Dragon when she was only a dragonet, Stygian sets off in search of a cure, leaving behind everyone she knows and loves. On her journey for help she meets more enemies than friends, with a little red fox as her only companion. At last she finds Turbulence; God of Confusion; the only one who can save her, or so he or she claims. *** Fyran, the Librarian's Apprentice is on the hunt for Leviathan; a legendary beast long foretold by prophecy, a prophecy she had disregarded as an old fable. Yet, ever since her father stumbled into their broken down house one dark night covered in blood and deliriously talking about a dragon with iron teeth, Fyran is no longer so sure. After her father dies and renders them all penniless, Fyran goes in search of this creature to take revenge-and the huge bounty on its head issued by the King of Sufta. Perhaps she will be successful and they'll no longer have to grovel as the poorest of the poor, and at the very least she'll acquire justice for the murder of her father, the only father she's ever had. But there is an old and forgotten prophecy as old as time fast approaching on the horizon. Nobody can stop it, fate is a force that can't be reckoned with, and everything that ever has and will ever happen to every citizen has already been foretold in their scrolls. The fate of Sufta is uncertain, and powerful forces are at play, but who has enough discernment to understand a long forgotten prophecy that's been dismissed by generations?
