Curtis Williams seems normal, but he's been taking medications to suppress the screaming fits he experiences at night. When Captain Shirogane begins to take interest in him and finds himself accidentally stumbling upon evidence of a bad habit the officer has been hiding from everyone, he watches him even closer. But the closer Shiro gets to him, the more Curtis tells himself he is a terrible distraction for him as a captain.
Trigger warning: This story contains vivid description and mentions of self harm as well as suicidal thoughts and attempts. Sometimes people are a lot different then you think. The first minute Lance steps into his new school he's warned about Keith Kogane. They say he's like the devil, the meanest guy you will ever meet. You better stay away from him otherwise you could get on his bad side, and then your life is over. Lance isn't the guy to judge people just because people talk about that person. But they seem to be right, as a moment later Keith throws a freshman on the ground for speaking to him. That is a sign for Lance to never even look at this guy.
