Xander is a supernatural being, a wendigo, taken captive by the government. The two form an unlikely bond before the watchful, corrupt eyes of the United States government's "Project X." As time passes, Terra realizes that her internship with Project X is more than she signed up for. Her humanity and sanity are compromised as she and Damian, nephew to the director of Project X, dig deeper into the dark intents of the Project. The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Caught
White was given to an organization right after she was born, she was a mutant of her own kind, she was known as 72. Growing up from that place until she was five, she never knew anything else except for avoid the needles, avoid the people in white coats and to stay strong. The day she turned five though, was the day everything changed. One kind guard set her free, she felt like a bird, she felt like she could fly and soar through the sky, to forget everything that happened in her past. She did for a while, but of course everything caught up to her. A year passed and White still remembered everything. From the smallest detail of the day. She was only six, on that day, exactly a year after she was able to escape from the Border, the only person that cared for her was killed, she was caught. She was back in bars, and the words that the guard told her still echoed in her mind. "Stay safe, stay alive," her life rules. And the years fly by, and still nothing happened. She was still trapped, caught, tamed. Caught in the act.... Tamed to fight.... Freed from her cage....Complete
