Years ago, in an area known as Amano City, chosen individuals known as guardians, guarded the powers of the zodiac bands, from the hands of evil. But terror struck, when an individual named Zaiax, attacked the guardians and nearly killed them to take their bands.  As a result, they sacrifice their life force to fuse themselves with the bands and also to disperse them across the city so it is impossible to found or until the next guardians are chosen along with releasing huge burst that presumably killed Zaiax as he faded into non-existence.  

Now in present day Amano City, the year 2020, three new guardians are chosen when Zaiax is revealed to have been alive was replenishing his energy all those years in a place as the Dark Void and brings with his army of generals and soldiers to fulfill his goal of wanting to claim the zodiac bands again. Eventually, other guardians will be chosen will join this current team to fight against this evil. They will be known the Power Ranger Guardians of the Zodiac.All Rights Reserved

Ariel has been a power ranger for as long as she can remember. One day Ariel was helping Jason Lee Scott and Kimberly Hart with something when she gets a call from Tommy saying that the evil space pirate named Divatox has returned. She was afraid that something like that would happen. When Kimberly and Jason got captured Ariel goes behind the other rangers backs to save them but ends up getting captured herself. When Divatox tried to turn them evil Ariel is the only one that wasn't affected because she is still a power ranger. While they were helping Jason and Kimberly to see who their real friends are Jason knocked Ariel into a coma. After they realized who their real friends are Jason and the others escape with Jason carrying Ariel on his back because the temple was going to blow. They get out just as the temple is about to blow. They get back to Angel Grove and some time later Ariel wakes up from the coma. She decides to continue her journey as a power ranger.

The Rangers returned to their normal lives after defeating Lushadow-Void and creating the new Universe. But then, a message gets sent to the heroes, telling them that a new threat is planning to seize control of one of the most powerful energy sources in the Universe: the Morphin Grid, and the most shocking thing of all, is that the people who sent the message tells them not to come and help them. The Rangers then learn how Sheldon came up with the idea to create his own team of Power Rangers, different from the ones made from the Grid. The heroes decide to go to the Morphin World to stop this threat, but they need to be extra careful because they're Rangers who are not connected to the Morphin Grid, which means they're targeted by both the threat and the Morphin Grid. And what's more shocking is that the force behind it all is someone very familiar to them, especially to one Ranger specifically.
