Dean Winchester is in love with Castiel Novak, a classmate in his college. The only problem with that is they're totally straight. At least that's what they wanted everyone to believe. One day Dean had finally mustered up the courage to ask Castiel out on a date, with the man of course saying yes. After their date Dean decided to sneak Castiel into his dorm the same Saturday night just so they can cuddle and spend extra time with each other. That night they had decided every Saturday night the Winchester was gonna sneak Castiel into dorm 015, his own dorm. When he knew it would be safe he'd send the male a text so he knew to make his way over. What would happen if someone was finally starting to catch on?

A college Destiel AU fic. Castiel Novak is 20 years old, and on the verge of a mental break down just about every damn day of his life. He went to college to live up to his mother's expectations, but he's starting to rethink whether or not he actually cares about that. Maybe it was the new found independence of living his own life? Or maybe it was the mysterious chat from a stranger that set him on the edge of rebellion. He only accepted the chat because he had no friends in the real world to begin with... maybe he could use on online friend. --------- Dean Winchester never knew how much he needed someone to care for. With his little brother Sammy away at a different college and living with his girlfriend, Dean was all alone, where he previously had never had a moment to himself. Dean started a chat with a stranger to find himself a new friend. He quickly realized how much he actually enjoyed the anonymous personality on the other side of the screen. And through his 22 years, he had never fallen for someone as much as he did the kid from the party. The Winchester boys had lived next door to Novaks for as long as anyone in the sleepy little town could remember. Cas and Dean were always best friends, joined at the hip was an understatement. It wasn't until they got into high school, they finally acted upon their feelings of intense love for each other. Inseparable, utterly, stupidly and madly in love. They were both shattered, but their broken edges fit together perfectly. Both suffering from abusive households, both with a brother that they'd die for. Meant for each other. Until that fateful day, when Cas woke up on their 2 and 1/2 year anniversary, after the best night of his life, and found Dean gone, no note, and his place on the bed cold. Our story takes place 6 years later, when the Winchesters are back in town for college, and the Novaks never left. It's time for this sleepy town to be reawakened. Dean and Cas are 23, Sam is 22, Gabe is 24 Deans also more like his early season self, y'know when he was still vaguely in touch with his emotions (PSA: Trigger warnings will be at the top of each chapter if needed, stay safe my silver nuggets. Please. Nothing graphic, just description from what my personal experience with all of it has been. Also, time is a weird thing in this book, it doesn't quite make sense.
