" So how was class?" My mom asks as she picks me up from gymnastics. "It was great" I say. She smiles as she starts the car and starts to head home. "What did you do today?" Mom asks. "I'm gonna start the balance beam, my teacher says i'm ready" I announce excitedly. "That's awesome you've been asking her for a while now" she turns her head and looks at me, she smiles. "I'm happy for-" "MOM LOOK OUT!" as a car crashes into ours.
Mia is a 17 year old girl in senior year. She lives in Denver Colorado with her 8 year old brother and her father. Ever since her mother died in a car crash she likes to stay on her own and away from everybody else. She lost most of her friends from this.
Max is a 18 year old senior. He's the gang leader of the scorpians. When he first meets Mia he is instantly in love, but he dosnt want to bring her into the gang life.
Will they ever end up together? Will he ever tell her he is a gang leader? That he has killed many people since he was 12?

I ran downstairs into the living room, my heart pounding as I found all my brothers gathered around Nefeli. Her eyes were frantic, scanning the room, desperately searching for me. The scream that bastard had let out earlier must have reached her... The moment our eyes met, she practically threw herself at me, wrapping her arms around me so tightly I could barely breathe. I stood frozen for a moment, unsure of what to do. I hugged her back anyway... Even though I had no idea what was going on.
