It's summer - the end of my first year of college. And I am home again, more than a little worse for the wear. College hadn't gone how I had expected it to go. After two years of the grind to get in, I thought I would find the kind of magic I saw in American high school movies, which I had been denied of in school - late nights, parties, wild adventures with whacky best friends, romance.... everything one is told is supposed to happen in one's teenage years. After two years of watching my classmates grow up and enter this world, I thought it was my turn, now. I thought my college life would be like a coming-of-age movie. But in reality? Senior high school was probably one of the best moments in life, at least for certain folks. We learn the meaning of life from those periods. It only happens 3 years for the majority of people. But the moments still linger on our mind. Example? Here it goes... "They say teenage romance is awkward-but nobody said it would come with strawberry perfume, secret siblings, and a weeb girl who could read minds..." "'Are you seriously making out with your twin?!' Did you ever wonder what your dreams meant? One second you are in fairyland and then the next, gruesome things happens, like the unicorn stabbing the fairy princess's face over and over, and then you wake up feeling if you got holes in your face. According to most, they are psychological, traumas, or desires that are so strong they manifest inside the mind when the body rests. All my life, I lived in a normal neighborhood, normal friends, normal family, but then this dream started, same event every night that got me thinking if I ever experienced a trauma, or a hidden desire. But few tell that dreams come from real experience unknown consciously, but the mind can only sort of remind you that it happened by making you dream it...
