Ainsley Ambers was thrown away as a baby at two-months old. Her father and mother had left her by the back door of a bar on the southern edge of Roseville. The young baby is then taken in by a lovely woman and her biker gang.
A series of tragic events play out over the 12 years until the woman who took Ainsley in, died in a gruesome murder.
Determined to make her adoptive mother proud, Ainsley takes on her role in the group until one day, six years after her mothers untimely death. It appears that the same group that had something to do with her mother's murder, is back in town.
Has this got to do with Ainsley's nightmares?
She rely's on her small friendship group and an unseen romance to get her through her new and strange life.

The Price of not Keeping my Mouth Shut
teens go through this all the time, you tell a friend something you did and then next thing you know your whole school comes running asking questions or rumor mill spreads. This novelette proves to choose who and when you tell people things. Ainsley thought she could trust some friends with her getting high but then all hell broke loose. With blackmail and more twisted up lies, she finds herself in a grave she can't escape. Although this is targeted towards teens like myself, adults go through this too. The guiltiness of possibly getting 'caught' when you do something wrong. To anyone who's struggling with trust issues or parental issues just know that you aren't alone. Trust me, I go through the same thing at school just not about this specific stuff in this little book. A lot of people go through this and think no one else will understand, and that's okay to think that way. I just hope someone is there whom you can talk to, or maybe you have book men or book women, I don't know. I do know that our book men/women are great and I wish they were real.
