The Undercity and Priares, many of the citizens of this place only knew peace, their definition of battle is a couple of thugs fighting on the streets or the military suppressing riots.
Dance lances too deep into something more than business, unable to go against his very conscience and curiosity. He continues to dance into involvement for his newfound friend and further involvement means further straying from his friends.
Rysa eventually has a different response to Dance's actions and instservice joins in and even manages to get accepted into one of the order.
Elkate is still haunted by her past, both her parents were murdered when she was a child. she only survived because of a mere coincidence, where a Priares soldier who was scouting found her afterwards and raised her.
