That is her number, the only identity shes's known. The only life she's known is that of a slave's. She has had no rights, no freedoms, no agency, and no choices. Until now. Presented with the prospect of freedom, Sage must decide if the potential loss of her life is worth it's potential gain. ----- This is a story concept I've had a few years now, but never had the words to bring it to life.
