"You are beautiful!" I exclaimed.
"No. He said after seeing the human in front of him "she's the one," she said sweetly. "At naging magkasama sila. Pero mayroon silang naging kasalanan."
"They ate the fruit in the garden which is forbidden," I answered.
"Yes! That's why people blamed them for bringing sin, lust and even death to this world," my Lola explained.
"Why does Eve eat the fruit?" As a little child, I was so curious with her story.
"Because Eve craves for independence and after eating she gains knowledge. Her choice."
"Lola, I thought it was because of the big, big snake." I spread my arms. She pinched my cheeks while laughing.
"It was Eve's choice."
She patted my hair and continue the story.
"Adan has given the option to eat and he chooses companionship over his duty. He make the biggest decision in his life and it is to be with Eve."
In that moment, I felt a static rushing through my veins and cooed, "To be with her."
"After they fall from grace they fully in love with each other. They face life together, they will face death together." She sighed.
"Adan and Eve are the first love story," she concluded.
"Lola, I love God and I will never disobey him but it happens in the past. Now do you think, I will find someone like Adan?"
I ended our conversation with a question. My grandmother told me something but I have already forgotten. Until now, it becomes a mystery.

Sabi, time heals wounds at distance makes one forget.
