Beaten and bruised, you stood up shakily. All systems were on high alert, error messages and damaged part notices filled your vision until they all disappeared at once. Human blood stained your skin and soaked into your clothes. A dull pound impaired your head. All you could feel was the metaphorical heart pumping in your chest, a singular, self directed command, and an incredibly strong will to escape with the 15 year old girl crying in your arms.

*Follows the storyline of Detroit: Become Human* You've been working at Detroit City Police Department for a few years, being in the police force had been you're dream job since you were a child. Currently, you investigated human crimes. Recently, you've been given the task of investigating cases involving deviant androids. The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you. You knew that he never meant any of the harsh words, so you stuck by his side. When you were both assigned to the same investigation, you had both decided to go to the bar to celebrate. You knew working at the DPD was risky, but passing as human and hiding in plain sight shouldn't be too hard... until CyberLife sends in a new partner. The android who replaced you. The one designed to find everything you're pretending not to be. And he's very good at his job. It'll take you 5 mins to read the first chapter, give it a try ;) I am very proud of this story! This may be written 7 years after the game's release, but I really hope all of you loyal fans are still looking for more content... My two biggest inspirations for this story: - Deviating and Solving Crime with 100% Human Detective Connor by CaotainKenway on ao3 for the whole android pretending to be a human concept. - Deviant Behaviour by Precursor - just general inspiration because it's my fave dbh fic of all time.

Connor, the Android sent by CyberLife and Lieutenant Hank Anderson are now armed with the task of taking care of a five year old girl after she survived a house fire that was started by a suspected deviant. However, her parents were not so fortunate. Together, the three go on missions, solve cases and try to uncover what is causing androids to deviate throughout Detroit. As the story progresses, Connor begins to question the way humans treat androids. With the help of five year old (Y/n), he will have to make a decision. He shakes his head but doesn't say anything, I watch as He places his hand over my heart, I'm sure he can feel how fast it's beating. His hand slides up my neck and rests on my cheek, my eyes flutter shut and he pulls me closer to him. "I want one minute like this, please" he says, I nod and wrap my arms around his neck and rest my head on his chest. He picks me up effortlessly and carries me to my bed, he lays down with me on top of him. He wraps one arm around my waist and the other runs through my hair, "why do you want this?" I ask. "I just want to feel like a human for one minute, feel what it would be like to be normal, to have someone to hold" he says. Natasha is Detroit Police's Head Lieutenant. She was assigned to work a case with an android sent by cyberlife. The case that wasn't supposed to be very big, changed the fate of the world forever. [Connor x Android!Reader] Detroit is having a problem with their androids, they are attacking their owners; Deviants is what they have been called. Cyberlife is desperate, they are afraid that having just one Deviant hunter on the case isn't enough. So they made a new series, RX400 model. It's a prototype just like RK800, but with more experimenting features. Now that both their Deviant Hunters are out there trying to solve the mystery, Cyberlife never expected the two to deviate themselves.
